It's official. We are moving to Washington DC. Well, at least northern Virginia.
We're packing the boxes and donating half the house contents. We definitely have too much crap.
And, for the first time I can remember in my life I can fit all my clothes into one closet.
But don't even think that I'm getting rid of all my shoes and purses.
Savages.

Congratulations! That was one of the things I wanted to know in my e-mail (which still didn't go through - something weird this way comes). That's very wonderful news. We will miss you, of course, but we might be in the area soon enough anyway. When's the big move?

We will probably have a shin-dig toward the end of October to say goodbye to everyone - though we may be having it out if our house sells. I have to leave in a little over a week but will be back the 3rd week of Oct to finish packing stuff and say goodbye.
We will miss you too - but hope sincerely that you will be out that way soon enough.
